Edit a template

Edit a template when you need to change the configuration, whether the change was due to an error in the settings that were previously configured or there are new settings you want to add. You can edit the configuration, modem firmware version, containers, and automations.

Note You cannot change the firmware version in a template. If you need to update the firmware on all the devices the template controls, see Copy a a template and its device configuration to a new template.

  1. In the left navigation menu, click Templates.

  2. In the list, click the template you want to change.

  3. In the wizard that displays, click any of tabs to make changes.

  4. Click Save.

    The changes you made to the template are saved.
