Prerequisites

Remote Reach capable devices.

Your device must be managed by Digi Remote Manager. A template is required to deploy the Remote Reach files to the device.

• The Digi device must have an active network connection.

• The endpoint device to be accessed must be reachable from the Digi router through:

  • Ethernet LAN

  • Wi-Fi LAN (if supported and configured)

  • Serial connection (for industrial devices using COM ports)

• Remote Reach must be enabled on the Digi device before endpoints can be discovered or configured.

Before adding an endpoint, you should know:

• Endpoint IP address

• Access protocol/service: HTTPS, HTTP, SSH, RDP, VNC,Telnet, Serial/COM (where applicable)

• Port number for each service if different from the default.
