Configure a preferred eSIM profile

Tip This procedure focuses only on configuring the settings related to eSIM profile selection on your eSIM-capable device. If you want to configure the broader set of modem options, such as network selection or SIM priorities, refer to the Configure cellular modem topic in your DAL OS product-specific user guide.

  1. Log in to Digi Remote Manager.

  2. Navigate to the device's settings menu.

  3. Click Network > Modem or Modems to expand the menu.

  4. Click Modem or WWAN to expand the menu for a specific cellular modem.

    Select a preferred SIM slot to define which SIM source is tried first.

  5. Click to expand the Preferred eSIM profile.

    Match preferred eSIM profile by

    Select how you want to identify the preferred eSIM profile:

    • Choose ICCID to match a specific profile

    • Choose Service Provider to match by carrier/network.
    SPN of preferred eSIM profile Type the ICCID of the preferred carrier profile.

  1. Click Apply to save the configuration.

You have finished configuring the preferred eSIM profile; the device will now prioritize the selected profile (matched by ICCID or Service Provider) when establishing cellular connectivity.
