Configure SureLink to switch eSIM profiles

Tip This procedure focuses on configuring SureLink to detect failures related to eSIM. If you want to configure SureLink to detect other WAN/WWAN failures - refer to the Configure SureLink active recovery to detect WAN/WWAN failures topic in your DAL OS product-specific user guide.

  1. Log in to Digi Remote Manager.

  2. Navigate to the device's settings menu.

  3. Click Network > Interfaces.

  4. Click to expand the WWAN or Modem menu.

  5. Click to expand the SureLink menu.

  6. Create a new recovery action.

    Click to create a new recovery action.

    The recovery action is enabled by default.

    For Label, type a word or phrase to identify the action. For example, Repower modem - eSIM.

    For Recovery type, select Switch eSIM profile.

  7. Click Apply to save the new recover action.

You have finished configuring SureLink to support eSIM profile switching, enabling the device to detect connectivity issues and move to an alternate carrier profile to help maintain cellular service.
