View the managed, unmanaged, and device-specific settings in a template

Tip If your template is configured to only manage firmware updates or files and not the device configuration, then there would be no managed, unmanaged, or device-specific settings to view. If you want the template to manage the device configuration, you can do so by clicking the Import from device button on the Settings tab.

View the managedClosedis any global or device-specific parameter that is part of the device configuration governed by a template, unmanagedClosedis any parameter that is part of the device configuration not governed by a template, and device-specific settingsCloseda local parameter that overrides a global parameter on one or multiple devices you configured for the template.

  1. Click Templates.

  2. In the list, click the name of the template.

  3. In the template wizard, click Settings.

  4. Click Managed, Unmanaged, or Device Specific Settings to see a list of settings for each category.

    You can now view the managed, unmanaged, and device-specific settings that will be used to keep your devices in compliance.
