FAQs
DANI is an AI-powered assistant that combines Digi knowledge resources with information from your Digi Remote Manager account. You can use natural language to ask questions your devices, fleets, and account information.
DANI is available in two subscription tiers:
-
Starter (DIGI-RM-AI-STARTER-1YR) - 10 credits per week
-
Pro (DIGI-RM-AI-PRO-1YR) - 50 credits per week
The only difference between the tiers is the number of AI credits provided each week.
No. All DANI subscriptions within a DRM account must be the same tier. Starter and Pro subscriptions cannot be mixed within a single account.
A Digi Remote Manager user must have a purchased DANI seat assigned to their user account before they can access DANI.
DANI credits are pooled at the account level. The total number of available credits is determined by the number of purchased seats in the account.
For example, if a Pro subscription provides 50 credits per week and your account has three purchased seats, the account has a total pool of 150 credits available each week.
No. Credits are shared across all users with assigned DANI seats. Any user with an assigned seat can use the full account credit pool, subject to available credits.
Yes. Purchased seats contribute to the account's total credit pool whether or not they are assigned to users.
For example, if an account has four purchased Pro seats and only three assigned users, the account still receives the credits associated with all four seats.
The total number of available credits is based on the DANI subscription tier and the number of purchased seats in the account. Refer to your subscription details for the number of credits included with your tier.
No. Credits are currently shared across all eligible users. Administrators cannot allocate or reserve credits for individual users.
About natural language in an AI tool
Natural language is human communication expressed in everyday words and phrases. This means you can interact with an AI assistant using conversational phrases and sentences rather than predefined commands, syntax, menus, or programming languages.
For example:
Traditional interface: show devices status=offline
Natural language: "Which devices are currently offline?"
Or:
Traditional interface: Navigate through multiple DRM screens and filters.
Natural language: "Show me all routers that have not connected in the last 24 hours."
No. A DANI seat must be assigned to your user account before you can access DANI.
No. Credits are pooled at the account level. Users with assigned seats share the same pool of available credits.
No. Once the account's credit pool is exhausted, no users can consume additional credits until credits are replenished.
Yes. Credits are calculated based on purchased seats, not assigned seats. Unassigned seats still contribute to the account credit pool.

No. DANI can access Digi knowledge resources and DRM account data. Access to customer-specific documentation requires integration of a customer-managed AI assistant using the Digi MCP Server.
No. DANI provides information and insights but does not make changes to devices, fleets, or account settings.
DANI has access to Digi knowledge resources and Digi Remote Manager account data. AI Assistant only accesses Digi knowledge resources.
Use DANI when you want an out-of-the-box AI experience within Digi Remote Manager. Use the Digi MCP server when you want to connect your own AI assistant to Digi Remote Manager and combine its data with your organization's documentation, knowledge bases, and business systems.
No. Recent conversations are retained up to a maximum limit. When that limit is reached, the oldest conversations are automatically removed. Conversations may also be removed after a period of inactivity.
