This is the General Availability (GA) production release of DAL OS for the TX65 platform. See Known issues for TX65-specific limitations.

Enhancements

  1. Enable support for USB-to-Ethernet adapters (DAL-13529).

  2. Added new esim_bootstrap_failover_delayconfiguration setting to have the device try any available physical SIM cards or operational eSIM profiles before switching to the bootstrap profile. The default is to wait 1 hour before allowing the eSIM to switch to the bootstrap profile (DAL-13823).

  3. Added new esim_bootstrap_failback_delay configuration setting to have the device re-try any available physical SIM cards or operational eSIM profiles if the modem is connected on the bootstrap profile for the defined period of time. The default is to wait 1 hour before switching off the bootstrap profile to re-try any available other SIM cards or profiles (DAL-13823).

    Note The delay will be ignored if the device is on factory default settings or there are no non-bootstrap profiles or SIMs to try.

Security fixes

  1. An issue where SIM failover wouldn't occur if a SIM was stuck in the "ready" state has been resolved (DAL-13788).

  2. An issue where SIM failover wouldn't occur if the modem never attempted to connect has been resolved (DAL-13919).

  3. An issue where old firewall rules were not cleaned up after a modem disconnect and reconnect has been resolved (DAL-13931).

  4. An issue where the WWAN1 modem didn't automatically refresh and reconnect when a new eSIM profile was OTA enabled has been resolved (DAL-13866).

  5. An issue where the TX65 Dual-WiFi (T1.5) variant was showing two WWAN interfaces in the web UI has been resolved (DAL-13926).

  6. An issue where the wrong APN could be cached in mm.json has been resolved (DAL-13921).

  7. An issue where the status of the inactive SIM slot was not preserved across modem re-connects has been resolved (DAL-13702).

  8. An issue where a declined SIM switch errantly removes the known state of the SIM card has been resolved (DAL-13943).

  9. An issue where timing after manually initiating a SIM switch could result in connectivity issues has been resolved (DAL-13956).

  10. An issue where a plastic eSIM was not initialized properly if inserted into SIM slot 1 instead of SIM slot 2 for WWAN2 has been resolved (DAL-13960).

  11. An issue where the modem failed to reconnect when the bearer was torn down mid-connect has been resolved (DAL-13952).

  12. An issue where the RRC state was not stored and displayed properly in the CLI and webUI has been resolved (DAL-13370).

  13. An issue where modem recovery actions were still being taken if the modem was disabled has been resolved (DAL-13949).

  14. An issue where the Digi-managed serviceproviders.txt files wasn't being used for compiling the built-in APN lists has been resolved (DAL-13961).
