Log in to the device's terminal to configure your device

You can log in to the device's terminal and access its Admin CLI to configure your IX15's settings.

1. In the SSH client, Telnet client, or terminal emulator, at the login prompt, type your administrator user name and password.

   The Access selection menu displays the following options:

   • a: Admin CLI - DAL OS management interface. It is the supported interface for configuring, monitoring, and managing the device.

   • b: Shell - Linux operating system shell. It provides direct access to the operating system, if enabled.

   • q: Quit - Closes the session and logs you out of the device.

2. At the prompt, type a and then press Enter.

þYou are now in the Admin CLI and can use any top-level command to manage your device.
